Apparently there are numerous drones making appearences over New Jersey and nobody can figure out who they belong to. They have spotted unidentifed drones as lage as cars but can't figure out where they are coming from. Probably just on their way to DC to deliver some cash.

The Feds being quiet about this almost guarantees it’s them.

That's what I was thinking as it seems it would not be that hard to figure out where they come from.

Well hell. They gotta land somewhere. How hard can it be? Don’t forget radar and satellite. I would think the military knows exactly where they came from and where they went.

A company contracted by my electric co-op launched one in my front yard that was about 8 feet across to video the trees that needed to be cut to run underground power. It flew around the area for about 45 minutes. Nobody thought Mars was attacking or it was some grand conspiracy because the people here aren't from NJ.

Remember, Orson Welles had Martians landing in New Jersey in 1938...maybe those folks are still a little jumpy.

You would think if someone was trying to be stealthy and gather intelligence; they would have drones without lights blinking all over them.

Wife told me about some guy shooting one down and turned out to be from Walmart. She said it just hovered around his area like it was spying or something. This was in Florida. He was taken to jail.

I find it a little disturbing, considering it could have been a neighbors drone. How was he to know?

There have been previous reports of them in the west states. Gov hasn't 'reported' what or who. There are FAA restrictions on fly above a given altitude without lic and permission.

Seems much ado about nothing. Oh well, wag the dog.

Planes and helicopters don't fly a hundred feet over your house.

My idiot neighbor flew his drone over my pool during a party. I stopped the music, got his attention, and in summary told him to FAFO. He hasn't done it since. Point is: privacy. Respect it or have an issue.

In the NJ videos I’ve seen of them they were several hundred feet in the air and are large commercial drones. Not some amateur flying a hobby drone.

If it was something clandestine, they wouldn't have lights..... why is everyone getting worked up?

If I wasn't at the ranch with someone that watches Fox News every waking hour of the day I would have no idea about this "issue". Just saying. Blow up your tv, throw away your paper....Everything the TV media puts out is to get a reaction.

It’s concerning when our government has no answer about what is flying over our country. Look how long it took them to figure out the what the ballon was...took days before they figured it out and shot it down. That’s not good, turning the tv off will not help.

"Drones Over New Jersey" sounds like a very bad breakfast special at Denny's.
