Case in point.

Social media ruining peoples “honey hole” hunting spots started with forums. Facebook and the like just sped the process up.

Need to visit the Grapevine COE website for application details. It’s archery and parking/access require some fun hikes to get away from some of the wacko peta types

If you get drawn PM, more than happy to help.

awesome thanks. I was reading on it yesterday and saw applications are in July. Looks like kids can hunt without drawing so that would be great for my boys.

It’s thick and I suggest a climber, but a light weight ground blind might work. If it’s not frosty wear snake boots. Lots of hogs too

Oh just FYI, COE rangers do often still patrol the woods (mostly before season in my experience) and will remove any found cameras, blinds, climbers. Agree with BoBo on good hikes... also when water is up you need a plan from access parking. And this is not sharing honey hole info as this is all common knowledge.

Il go w that’s a feeder hanging in that tree. That’s a no no. Il also go yes he is old. I had a shot at him 3 yrs ago. I didn’t take it. Hind sight is 2020. I have daytime pics of him on my phone. Instead of shooting him I took pictures of him. He was a bit out of range I didn’t want to wound him and chase him forever. Good to see he’s still around.
