That’s the worse I’ve seen Alabama get beat since Clemson in playoffs years ago.
I did see Venables said his wife’s cancer is back. Hope he gets a little peace today.

It looks like Texas. Tenn and Georgia are in best positions. May have made a spot for SMU/ACC to get in 2.

I think it would be cool to have a playoff with Arizona State. Indiana and SMU. Teams usually dismissed early.

Playoff could get interesting if Georgia Tech beats Georgia. They usually play them tough. Tenn has Vandy.
I don’t know what the scenarios are right now. But seems like Georgia v Texas in sec championship.
As of today.
My playoff would be. No order.
Oregon
Ohio state
Penn State
Indiana
Texas
Arizona State
Boise
SMU.
Miami/Clemson
ND
Tenn
Texas
Georgia could lose. Tenn could lose.

Heard whoever wins Saturday will play Georgia in the SEC Championship. That is A&Ms only way to playoff. As a conference champion. They have to beat Texas and Georgia. Next weeks games are still big. Georgia tech vs Georgia, always tough game. Vandy v Tennessee. Texas v Texas A&M. Don’t think any of the Big10 or Big 12 games mean anything. S Carolina v Clemson could help Clemson. ACC likely gets in 2 this year.

Texas made out the best. They went from lose and you’re out to lose and it doesn’t matter. I don’t think Texas would fair well against Georgia in Atlanta.

Im not a fan of the format. That will be an intense game for both teams with additional opportunities for injury. Then, the Loser has to play again the next week.
Tennessee May end up in a better spot. Get rested and have a better idea of who/where they play in playoff.
