Had a great hunt last weekend with my daughter. She won the coin flip to shoot a buck and what a buck it was. It was odd we saw only 1 doe in three days. Lots of bucks. passed on a few nice ones and we were beginning to get nervous we wouldn't get a shot. Then at 5:30pm the last sit, this big guy came out. Kaitlin's 7mm-08 went boom and big boy finally was hers. Stayed in a cool VIRBO in Quanah. You flipped a coin to see who would shoot first? That was my first thought and I figure most would agree, but maybe hes trying to teach her that "everyone doesnt get a trophy." Im not sure how old she is, but doesnt appear to be a child.
