While you're in Waco look up Kitok's downtown on 19th street. Double lip locker with oriental fries and a sweet tea will do you right! Also Cupp's behind BK off 35 downtown does a really good burger. Get the fries twice fried and thank me later.

Met a buddy of mine down at Maple & Motor for a burger, dang good burgers and Tater Tots. I know it is super common, but loading a burger with thick cut tomatoes like that is a turn off for me.

Stub, next time you go try that flat top brisket. It's different than regular brisket and is quite good. I hate recommending food as everyone's tastes are different.

Will do, how do they compare to Sky Rocket's partial brisket burgers? Also found out online that Maple Motor Burger & Beer opened a location fairly close to our house, it is on Preston Rd just south of Beltline Rd.

Anyone got a good recommendation for the Giddings - Hallettsville vicinity? Going to be roadtripping down that way next week (central Texas to the coast) and thinking I'll be in that area roughly for lunch. I don't have a set route yet so any ideas for a great burger or other place are welcome.
