Is there no plywood under the tin roof? I’d shoot it full of silicone and cover it with tape. x 2

This reminds me that I need to go check out the flex tape fix on that hole. I sorta forgot.

Easy way...squirt a self-tapping screw with some form of sealant and then thread into hole. Problem solved
^^^^^ This. The reason for it....is that it provides a 'mechanical' filling of the hole. Using a sealant alone is very dependent on how clean the surfaces are in order to achieve a lasting bond. With an oversize screw you have mostly plugged the hole with the screw and only need to seal the threads of the screw. Sealants (silicone, flexseal, other), will provide a temporary solution but over time are likely to fail due to UV rays and the constant expansion/contraction of the tin.
