Shot this Friday afternoon about 5 minutes after climbing into the stand, he was around opening weekend but I didn’t know if he would still be there. This is low fence under 400 acres and iI used my 300 win mag because I didn’t want to take a chance of trying to retrieve him out of the creek bottom. I will score him later but my Taxidermist believes he will score in the upper 130’s. Doesn’t matter much to me as long as I shoot a mature deer. Good luck everyone!

I scored him very conservatively but I had 136 Gross, he maybe a little bigger but probably the biggest Buck that will be shot on this place. I’ve seen one bigger but he is old and smart and I doubt anyone gets a chance at him. They be are chasing so who knows!

Followed up last weekend with a nice doe, didn’t hunt this weekend but will be back after Thanksgiving. One of the guys shot a Axis this weekend so maybe I can have the same luck!
