There is an entire faction of people that make a living buying FOMO bourbon and reselling it on the secondary market. It's ridiculous. Weller 12 sells at 9x retail

Also more of them don't even drink at all, they are all about the secondary market.

Great point. The guys I see lining up to buy anything from BT are more the metrosexual type. Converse and man-buns. Doesn't really reinforce the bourbon drinker's attributes.

Not a single guy that I saw meets that description. But this was early on a Monday so they were probably all still asleep.
Unlike the ammo rush that comes on every few years and then dies down, the bourbon fad has not caught up in 12 years.
The distillers all knew it was coming. I was at Wild Turkey 14 years ago and they were looking to double the facilities. Even if they doubled production, it wasn't enough.

Glad to see you are still drinking it. Save some for after the holiday as I may be up your way for a couple of days depending on the weather.

Next one’s on me, Coach.

We have a lot of serious drinkers here.

It has become the suave thing to collect with the man bun and skinny jean crowd Gen Z's. Doesn't get you any more or less buzzed than any other bourbon.

Yes but the taste is what most bourbon drinkers are about and the hangover can vary.

Almost always on the shelves at the Specs and Planet Spirit east of town. They usually have Weller's too.

I checked my local cigar shop recently and they don’t have any cigars. Wanted to try, before buying a box.

Yep - bourbon just doesn't do it for me.
Now put me in front of a nice bottle of scotch . . . nuts

Have you checked your Specs? Mine pretty much always has the BT cigars. Their app inventory doesn't seem to work very well but their website inventory is pretty accurate.

Disappointing to say the least. I'd expect more out of a cigar with my name on it. up

And yes, I'm a BTD fan from way back before the tators took over cheers

I also like Scotch. But bourbon is American as apple pie. It can only be made in America, and it is good.
