Genuinely curious, Triton. You’ve already stated you’ve never seen a mountain lion. Where did you get your knowledge? Have you been part of a tagging project? Are you a wildlife biologist? Formal training? Or just an internet education?

I just took an interest in them years ago. Lots of reading. Lots of conversations with biologists. Lots of looking at all the evidence and facts

Thanks

You're welcome. And it's not just TP&W biologist. Lots of other wildlife biologist. Also a handful of people from south Texas that actually make a living hunting them

If it was from Google than I would have said Google. He asked a honest question and I gave him a honest answer. It doesn't bother me if that offends you

Have you even considered the possibility that you’re wrong, Triton?

He quoted TP&W lion confirmations for his horrible argument. Several people on here have explained why that is flawed information. Nobody who owns land would report a lion kill to them and have their biologists crawling all over it looking for a way to dump on the landowner's rights. I'm guessing he's from the suburbs.

Are you really that clueless. Mt lions are nongame animals. If you report killing one nobody is going to be crawling all over your land

It appears to be wandering east. First sighted on the west side of lake Lewisville then Frisco and now Plano

Non-game, but TP&W believes what you believe, because they are whom you go your information from. They are "passing through" in north Texas. TP&W definitely showed up in Celeste.

Are you a landowner, or on a postage stamp yard, or in an apartment?

What do you mean read it. Are you under the assumption they are game animals? I thought it was common knowledge they could be killed 24/7/365

So you assume having knowledge about Mt lions means someone is from the "burbs"?

So when it hits the news later that it was sighted in Plano. I guess y'all will think it's a different one. Lol

No, I assume you know nothing about owning land or landowners in general.

This lion crossed the tollway, preston rd, coit, custer and is now in plano. Instead of just going north

But, but, they don't live east, or north. Only south and south west. A government agency said so.

And this one is heading east. rolleyes

That lion is in south whitesboro heading towards hagerman and wondering why it made the decisions it did. I question it too but it did not expect that outcome lol
