Humm, wonder where they are dispersing from? Perhaps the mothers care?

Just because TP&W says they are not there does not make it true.
You ever seen one Triton?
Ever hunted them, had to pull traps because of one moving into your trapping area so you didn't have to release it?
Do you know what mt lion sign looks like?
Can't say that we've found any kills on the ranch but have taken 2 mt lions so far and probably take one this year too.

This is not a bobcat track.

Yes they are dispersing from their mother.
It not just because TP&W says so. All the evidence says so
Unfortunately I have not seen one. I live in north Texas
Never hunted them.

I don't mind being called out. It's not just my claim. It's also TP&W claim and the lack of confirmed sightings and evidence backs it up. I actually expected a hunting group to have more wildlife knowledge than what I am seeing on here

“They aren’t here” is an absolute statement. It’s not true. They may not be as plentiful as feral house cats but they are here. Why you keep trying to back that absolute claim is beyond me. They are here. I know it, you know it, everybody knows it.

My guess is those #s are ridiculously low. There are a lot of people who don't report mountain lion sightings to TPWD.

I saw these two bobcats last few weeks while walking, one walk right in front of me around 5:30 am it was dark and I was by a street lamp, it ran into the bushes of a house and went up and snapped a pic.

The other one I saw a few weeks ago and she jumped on on the fence to escape, but while she was there she chilled for moment. We have a lot of rabbits in area, I keep the rabbits feed year round.

There are no resident lions here. Any lion in this area is a rare dispersing male wandering through

I’m thinking someone is accustomed to a Reddit audience rather than people who are in the woods all day and night.

They've been living in North Texas for decades. They are not passing through.

In the 90's, when Collin County was a whole lot more country, we saw tracks. Friends of mine have sent me pics of tracks in Fannin County as recent as last year.

They are alway here, they just move like ghosts.

No they aren't. There are only 2 breeding populations in Texas. South Texas and Trans Pecos. The only ones in North Texas or East Texas are extremely rare dispersing males just wandering through.

That’s simply not true. I know for a fact they’ve been living and breeding in Parker County.

So a female with offspring living in the county means less than your all-knowing opinion?

Parker County. Try to keep up. This was several years ago. You obviously don’t realize this, but you don’t know everything.

It shows Dallas county had 1 in the last 10 years also.

You must be trolling. Nobody can possibly be that arrogant about something they can’t possibly know for certain.

I'm confident there wasn't. People make lots of claims and never have proof

Based on his handle I'm guessing a TFF refugee.
