Holy hell, this dudes still arguing about a Cat? It really isnt about the cat it is about this elon mush brainiac who has to piss off electrons over the interwebs to tell us how smart he is. I would love a logical explanation . I never comment on here about anything except Mt lions or native cats. Explain how that makes me any sort of know it all when I comment on one subject

Only mildly shocked. 99% of the "Mountain Lion" sightings around DFW are bobcats seen by uneducated people. We have them on our ranch in the panhandle, and I had them on a lease near Childress that was on the Pease River. Cool video, but a bit concerning that a lion is bold enough to roam a residential neighborhood. The TP&W biologist that was responsible for site investigations in North Texas did over a hundred site investigations while with TP&W. Not a single one turned out to be a lion. There is a reason there is only a handful of confirmed sightings. They aren't here This right here/\/\/\

dispersing males keeps being turdheads explanation. Answer this then, where is he leaving and why is he not staying where food is plentiful? Maybe he continues on because he detected another males marked territory? What kind of area is he looking for? Maybe unmarked territory? Why is he way north of where you say they are? Young males get pushed out of their territory. They look for their own territory witch needs a large deer population and females. They will travel huge distance. There was one hit and killed by a vehicle in Connecticut that was traced to south Dakota by DNA. Another one killed in Arkansas traced to south Dakota

Gotcha.

Anyone ever ate mountain lion, people say it’s really good. Maybe since they are growing in numbers in central Texas I may get one one day.

Yes, it resembles pork kind of. A lighter colored meat but has an interesting smell to it when cooking. Made some good chili with one of ours we've taken. I just can't get over eating a cat but that's just me. Spouse always wants to save the meat when we take one, me not so much.

Use the meat in a Chinese recipe and you should be fine. Just let it hang for a few weeks outside to dry age.

Wednesday morning news is reporting that the, or another mountain lion, was spotted on camera in a Plano alley. I saw the video, but the short report did not state where/street location.
...!

This cat looks smaller than the one in Frisco to me, big house cat or another mountain lion?

Anyone ever ate mountain lion, people say it’s really good. Maybe since they are growing in numbers in central Texas I may get one one day. There was a thread in the Open Hunting Discussion section, a few years ago. If memory serves, about 80 members reported Mountain Lion was very good table fare.
