Jimbo....I have never had does spook with a scent of Tinks 69.... that I can remember.....I am not questioning your experience but unusual for me..lol Do you have Tinks 69 Doe-in-Rut....Estrous Urine? Could it be possible the does caught a scent of a buck in the brush? The more you use Tinks 69 the more you will see how powerful that stuff is. Tinks 69 works so good a friend of mine was a biologist said that he didn't like hunters using that stuff as it was unfair.Lol
My first time also. Yes, that’s what I have, new bottle. My blind is facing south and the wind was high out of the NW. they crossed over from my right and were heading to my pig feeder just SE of me and were fine until they got close to the pen. It’s quite possible a buck was coming in from the east or NE but it’s thick brush on that side and I never saw him.

Best pic I could get of the big 9pt. Pic not that good, doesn't show his width. He might be a 3yr old, he won't stick around long enough for me to judge him.

Saw this small racked bruiser. Must like to fight. A few young Bucks chasing doe’s this morning. In the stand now.

One decent 8 came cruising through early, looking for love, but he kept going on his patrol. Just some young 'uns. TWA hunters took out some moms last weekend.
Breezy. Weird early morning light with the moon still up through clouds as the sun rose.

I noticed the weird color too Creek. Kinda the same color when an early morning storm is blowing in. Had a lot of activity but everything left at 8:00.

Yesterday morning just before sunup I had a super nice 8 outside my pig feeder almost straight east of the blind. Just as I put my rifle on him the sun popped up and since he was back in trees some, I couldn’t get a good sight picture on him. Had to watch him saunter off. Was hoping he’d return today. That’s hunting!

I shared a mesquite tree with a trophy size Walking Stick. Good picture of an obvious B&C trophy Walking Stick Are you going to have it shoulder or full body mount? One afternoon a couple of weeks ago I was enjoying a cold one, had a neat visitor just show up on my knee. Watched him for awhile until he started walking towards my crotch then it was time for a relocation. Dropped him off on a nearby Cedar tree.

Real tall, wide 8 came in, then an older, basket-horn 10 cruised through for a bit. Great to see a mature guy like that, but, I put my son in the wrong blind this morning.

Fun afternoon, three 9pts, two that are 4yr old. 3 smaller bucks, 4 doe and 4 fawns. Here's the biggest 9pt, he was a 10 but broke about a 8 or 9" tine off.

Back at it today. Cooler today and the next couple of mornings are forecasted to be in the upper 30’s. Hoping it gets them moving a bit. Gotta get this full moon cycle behind us.

Good luck Jimbo. I'm taking a couple hunts off, be back in the stand tomorrow afternoon. That being said, I've got about 15 that I can see from my house now. North of my house about 200 yards, I have a corn and protein feeder. About 200 yards south of my house, I have a little 3 acre wheat food plot.

Thanks Stompy, and you as well. Had a small 8 come in and was scared off by some cows. After they moved on, he came back and was joined by a very nice tall 8. Brought my rifle up and had him in the crosshairs but couldn’t pull the trigger. Watched both of them move over to the pig feeder 50 yards from the blind. Still couldn’t take him down and he walked off. This is the first year out of the last 10 that my wife hasn’t hunted with me. Different not having her here to share the experience. Hopefully he’ll show up tomorrow and give me another chance.
