Planned on using a come along also if I shoot a big one. Have a tow chain attached to the front hooks in the bed of the truck, then attached a come along to the middle of it. After a mock trial run decided it was more work than I had hoped for. Now I have a pulley hoist attached to the tow chain and a chain attached to it to wrap around the bucks neck. My thought is if I am lucky enough to get the big one, all I will have to do is pull his head up on the tail gate and I will muscle him in from there. Yes I am going to replace the chain that would have wrapped around the neck with a strap. Looking at my picture, probably ought to turn the pulley system around
