Were you in the blind in the pic or somewhere else?
The nice thing about archery is you can use it all season. It is fun when they get close and there is something about knowing you got a good shot on a deer.
Yes sir. I was in the blind in the back ground.
I had corned to road from the blind to the feeder and he ended feeding his way from the feeder to the blind. I had tried a pop-up blind closer to the feeder but I was continually getting busted due to swirling wind or noise so I tried something different and it worked. I waited until I had the right wind and went in early and corned.
If you look closely at the pictures you can see the two younger bucks that were with him. They were up feeding near the blind, 30yds, and he finally headed that way after feeding all around the feeder. I didn't think he was going to come in close so I was prepared to get him the next day during the rifle opener but I guess he picked everything around the feeder and decided to come move those younger bucks off of the corn near the stand and that's when I go my shot.
It just worked out perfectly and was pumped that I was able to put a good shot on him.
