I be taking my 270 sendero as well. 4.4-14 Leupold. 30mm tube. I'm about an inch high at 100 yards.

Very nice. You must have an after-market trigger in that 788! 6oz, sweet! Used a 788 in 243 for years back in the day, and the heavy trigger pull was my only complaint. I just worked the original trigger . 788's are a bit harder to do than most . My wife's full competition 788 in .222 has the trigger down to 3 oz , but it will never go out in the field .

I checked zero on the 416 REM Mag yesterday, I’m going on a pig killing mission this weekend while the wife and kiddo hunt for Bubba Gump. Username certainly checks out! Hope you get your pig, OT! Yes it does and I appreciate that I’ll probably end up breaking out the BMG before the weekends over with, I have the big lead itch I need to scratch. I checked zero on it this morning and she’s ready to bark as well.

Went to Alpine around 11:30. Heard the range guy checking in the guy’s gun ahead of me say “you might have to wait for a bench because deer season opens tomorrow.” I get to the line and more than half the benches are unused! Stayed that way the 2+ hours I was there!!

I keep dated targets for each rifle at 50 and/or 100yds with load data written down on the targets for all my rifles. Makes it easy to remember where the projectiles were last tracking when I grab a rifle to use each year.
