When I was at Barksdale in the 70's they would bring nukes in on a train. The tracks went straight to the storage facility. I pulled a lot of alert on B-52's loaded with nukes. You followed the rules or you would find yourself on the ground with a M-16 pointed at you.

that's not the way it was when I was in. 2 suburbans up front, followed by two semi's (only one had the warheads) followed by 2 more suburbans. why draw attention with armor?

I don’t think that original video is typical. You normally don’t even know they are transporting them through. Definitely not hauling them with lights and sirens across the country.

They aren't hauling them across country. This occurs when they do maintenance on an ICBM and/or missile silo and haul the warhead to the local base. or maybe the warhead is due for maintenance.

In this case the 341st Missile Wing is located at Malmstrom AFB.

The USA still has about 450 active ICBM missile silos.

The OTC moves nuclear weapons multiple times a week and thousands of miles. There are multiple places they can be moved to for maintenance. They are not transporting them with lights and sirens all the time as portrayed in the original video.

Most likely only use lights and sirens through heavy traffic areas…

Those videos are from around Warren, Malmstrom, and Minot Air Force Bases. They are seen traveling to and from the base to an ICBM silo undergoing maintenance. Allegedly they are carrying something interesting.

Having been a participant in some of these activities over the last several decades, there's a lot of "show & tell" there for the video. Out of sight, out of mind is much more useful and secure.

Having seen many types of nuclear weapons, I can say, they're nothing special to look at.

At museum that used to be at Amarillo Airport . Just down the road from Pantex.

We were joking about Dr Strangelove and curator said, "Climb up. You can’t hurt it.
