The best for spices and blends. I love going to Pendery's. The smell is incredible when you walk in. They probably have 20 different chile blends. Great place, been around forever. Used to be downtown and moved to the near southside a number of years ago. Well worth the trip or order online.

I don't see how some of you guys even have taste buds anymore... or colons.

My kids love hard core carnivore. Just meat and seasoning and then we normally add cheese and avocado

Tomorrow for us. I just set out 2.5 lbs of Elk burger

Ready to make some tamales again to go with some chili. We eat it year round my son loves chili over corn chips with cheese.

I had the last of that 2 alarm this evening. I think it gets better over time as everything breaks down… good stuff

TexJoy chili powder of course. Made in Beaumont, Texas. Plus, sautéed onion, bell pepper, and garlic, tomato paste, stewed tomatoes, Rotel tomatoes, other assorted spices.

I have used an assortment of meat for chili. My all time favorite is leftover smoked brisket. I don’t wrap so it has good bark on it. That brings chili up several levels.

My wife likes beans so I put beans in for her.

She also won’t eat chili unless she can eat it over rice. Don’t knock it till you tried it.

P. S, Instead of Texas chili I made a big gumbo during the cold spell last week.

only at HEB, I buy 15 boxes at a time and love the stuff. Easy peasy, meat, tomato paste, chicken broth and serrano peppers

My family always used Morton's chili blend , I can't find it locally , so I switched to Ballow's . It works just fine to my taste.

I bought the hot chili packets from the dollar store, the guys loved it.

All you guys have me hungry for Chili as well.
I’m making a pot tonight, trying TPACK’s version.
It is real close to how I usually make mine.

I prefer Carol Shelby's mix myself.
