This is a “3 screw old model” “Buntline Special” style of single-action revolver. It wasn’t sent back to Ruger when they did the voluntary safety recall and is still in original condition along with the original magnum cylinder. See link below re: recall. I don’t think I’ve fired a dozen magnums in it. It was a turtle & target plinker.

The gun shows wear, but is functionally perfect. I just discovered one missing screw on the bottom of trigger guard, which should be readily available from Ruger. The missing screw doesn’t affect function. I’ll take $500 for it.

You can pick it up at my home in Sulphur Springs and shoot it right here or we can meet up somewhere. I’ve met a few DFW folks in Greenville for deals. I’m really in no hurry to sell it. Trade interests are limited. If you have a CZ Scorpion EVO Carbine 9mm lets talk. Please use PMs for communications. Thanks

Apparently, they still have this recall. Supposedly the collector value with this era of guns is based on not being converted.

If you order the missing screw from Ruger, they will ask for the serial number, they will check and see that it has not been converted.
They will not support a unconverted shingle action, not even a screw that has no functioning action.
Great customer support but the lawyers make it difficult.

You might check Numrich gun parts, they have a lot of old parts.

I can’t seem to find a deal on a CZ Scorpion carbine. I’ll pay boot on the right trade for something else -- polymer pistols like Sigs, H&K, CZ, Glocks, etc., maybe an AR. Offer by PM please. I don’t think they want much back and forth here.
