Be prepared to be underwhelmed if it’s one of the small ones like they just opened in Grand Prairie.

Gonna go Saturday and check it out. There are 2 academy’s within a couple miles of there. If it’s small academy will run them out.

Go to Scheels once and you will never return to Bass pro Amen! I’ve never been to a Scheels. Is it better? I was a fan of sportsman’s warehouse until they closed them all here. Will still stop in when I go out west
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Went this afternoon and it appears to be somewhat larger than the Cabela's in Waco. Probably the same size as the other two locations in the Houston area.

Go to Scheels once and you will never return to Bass pro Amen! I'm in Scheels often. Great selection of every outdoor category you can imagine, knowledgeable staff that are great and willing to help, things for my wife to shop for while I do my thing. The guns...........all the rifles and shotguns are right out there for you to pick up and handle at your pleasure. I've just got into archery and don't know much about the equipment side. Walk into the archery section and there are plenty of knowledgeable employees there to do anything they can to help, install anything they sell on your bow while you wait, trim arrows, etc.........They have on site gunsmiths, several of them with posted pricing for services. I buy a lot and do instore pickup. Rewards program is very good.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Go to Scheels once and you will never return to Bass pro Agreed. Johnny M can keep his house brand cheap knock off crap he sells now. I have not bought gear there in years, its a shame.

The big one by me is like a tired, elderly lady in a nursing home wearing an evening gown - the party's been over for a long, long time.

Backpacks- Kifaru, stone glacier, mystery ranch, elberstock, alps, Sitka Even in lifestyle out wear, they have free fly, Vulori, burleebo etc

AVOID!!!! Didn’t even try to go. Buddy that lives closer was saying the wait to in the parking lot was at 30 minutes. Think I’ll give it some time to slow down.

Good decision. Don't waste your time of BP. For a box store, Scheels is now best out there. Jake in The Colony archery shop is good guy, straight shooter and knowledgable

Shop Scheels. Forget BP and Cabela's.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.
