Hunt? No blasphemy allowed here. LMAO!

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Not to many Texas ranches you can’t kill 9 deer in a weekend.

True, but not many will have an average over 220" for all 9.

Beautiful place for sure. I wanted that kind of ductwork in my place, but the builders didn't know how to make it happen so we scrapped it and went with split units. Really like the look of that ductwork in such a setting.
Also wanted a glass wall like that in our place, but we got a bunch of windows with structure between them. It is still a window wall but not as impressive as yours.

Again, beautiful place!

But is it about the hunt or antlers? If one is focused on 220avg then they are the mirror image of what they are trolling on

Ditto on the place only thing better would be a view of Tetons!

Well we are a glass company first and foremost so we have lots of glass. Front looks like that wall too. Our freezer is glass. Glass interior walls. Even have glass deer blinds.

Thanks Judd. I really don't care what anyone thinks about High Fence/Low Fence. Don't hunt here if they don't like it.

Come on Bobo. Dividing 1983 by 9 does not mean anyone is “focused” and mentioning the average score, after your post about easy to kill 9, is not trolling. You’re about my fave on here, but that was a stretch. cheers

Ok a glass company with that kind of scratch, i am in the way wrong business. Do you guys want a smart (questionable) dude to run something or do something?

Seriously tho, what kinds of ages were your 9x1983”

We talking 3yo freaks or 6-7yo bruisers? Also, are those paid hunters or employees/family members who shot those deer? Not knocking anything, just genuinely curious on the process or how you can get rid of that kind of deer in one weekend and still have anything resembling a deer herd left over.

They are to be commended for running an obviously successful and prosperous glass company. I salute that. Ranches like that are deer farms/pay by the inch operators. Whatever you've got the money for, they've got a deer that fits. It is what it is.

^This is the first sentence of the first post.

He asked me to build a scoped rifle, with load development, ammo, and DOPE. And I did that.

It does not matter if it is high fence, low fence, what county it is in, what animals are being harvested, and how difficult the hunts are.

I took the rig to the ranch. I met some very nice people. They have been successful in life, and I am happy for them.
I was requested to build the hardware, and I did. And did it very successfully. It is no concern of mine how it is used, as long as it it legal. It has been used legally. These same hunters, also go on hard hunts around the globe, along with hunting inside a high fence, in Texas, west of I-35. That is their business. If they are happy, I am happy. And my phone and email has been active because of the O.P, and the hunters that have used the rig.

So, yall debate all you want, on high or low fence, antler scores, or how much work is going into the hunts. It matters not. The people using this rifle, optic and ammo don't give a damn what you think. And neither do I.

As long as its legal, i am good with it. I was asking about the logistics of how that kind if hunting can be sustainable is all.

I am thrilled people do well and can do stuff like this and have you make them good hardware for the job. I know you do good work personally, so it goes without saying you made a good product.

I really don’t see anyone knocking the method or anything, more just questions about the “how” is all.
That is way off topic though…so for that i do apologize. I could have PM’d aggie my questions.

I just went back and counted and that rifle is 12 for 12. Only thing that took more than a couple steps was a blackbuck and it entered the front shoulder, went all the way diagonally across his body, and blew a one inch hole out in front of the opposite hind leg. Thing made me remember how to track. Internally looked like a bomb went off.

I’m sold on the Berger 175 Elites and I’ve historically not liked Berger on animals. Only issue is now Jason is about to build me my own. Wife gonna be so happy with me.
