Dewitt and Victoria counties border Lavaca county from the south. I have a home in Victoria county but there is about a two mile strip of Dewitt county that I have to cross if I go up HWY 77.

I'm glad you guys chimed in on the age. I'm not that great at aging deer but I had also noticed his physical attributes you guys mentioned and figured him for at least 4.5 and maybe 5.5 years old.

I hunted in Lavaca co. where Lavaca and Jackson come together. The bucks had nice racks but was not real large, some what around 90-150 lb.s . as I remember. Fun place to hunt.

Guessing 4.5, no more than 5.5 years old. Little back sway, narrow face with normal hair coloring, normal size rump, the only thing that makes him look mature is his sagging brisket.
