yep, she passed last week, I was in there on Wed. when I found out. Evidently she had been in a nursing home for a while. I've rarely had any issues with their corn being trashy, maybe a few stalks here and there. I love their bags??? why do you find them to be a pain? pocket knife to the strings on the end opposite of the tag and it just unzips.

This isn't the first year I've gotten corn from them that had significant stalk, cob, and other junk in it. I'm pretty positive it was 50% of the cause of my Treeline feeder jamming up last year. My Ranch Kings throw anything, so it didn't matter there. But I can get tab-bags with super clean corn from Micobe in Hamilton for $.70 more, same distance, and not worry about it.

Their bags - It seems you have to cut just the right string and pull it just right or it binds. I've had multiple people try it and we've all struggled with it, and I've been putting out various feeds for 40+ years. It's worse if you're wearing gloves, too.

yeah, I guess with the thousands of bags I've opened from there I am just used to doing it... and will get a stubborn one occasionally. I just hate the paper bags although they have the easy to open pull tab, just too many busted bags and loose corn in my truck or RTV bed or on the ground.

I agree on the paper. My cow cubes come in paper, and it seems the dock guys relish trying to break them when they throw them in the truck. Most of the corn companies have gone to a stiff plastic bag that's much harder to break.

We save all the corn bags for trash bags. Paper bags suck for many reasons.?

My bride saw some corn at Sam's that they were selling for $6.00/50# bag last week. Told her to buy all they had. 89 bags later and $240/ton felt like a bargain.
