With JG building it I thought it would be a 7mm-08 on a Tikka action! grin

I wouldn't blame him if he did. I bought a Tikka in 7mm-08 on his advice and it's a sweet rifle.

Might go a touch higher rings. Only bad thing on the nxs8 2.5-20, short ring mount area and then straight in to bell housing angle.

Looks awesome

There is daylight between the objective and the barrel. The scope shoulders nicely at 20X.

Very nice, interested in how it performs. I've been waiting to take my 7PRC to the range for sight in. I bought mine to be a "take anything in North America" rifle. Just my excuse to buy one really...

Why not use a pic rail to mount the scope so the rings don’t have to be so close to the bell and magnification lever? Looks like the magnification lever might hit the bolt when at a certain magnification. Do you have clearance there?

Rings should be spread apart as far as possible. It makes a more stable mount.

That is a Pic rail, cut in half to reduce weight. It has 20 MOA of cant.

This action is a 3 lug bolt. So a 60° bolt throw. When the bolt handle lifts, it is 3/4" away from the scope.

Nice, didn’t know it’s a 3 lug bolt with a 60 bolt throw. Thats a sweet rig!

I'm color blind so not sure how I feel about the tan/brown Cerekote. I would stick with graphite black. I went through the goofy mounting of my first NX8 @ 20X. Ended up getting the 32X. Looks like a solid MOA shooter for sure.

Maybe sponge some of the Tan Cerekote on the stock? Like I say I color blind.

Great job Jason!!!

Well it's sniper GREEN. The only tan in that picture is the mat and the bag.

That’s ok Buzz. My step brother suffered from color blindness. One of the funniest things I’ve seen in my
Life was when he drove home so proud of his new “blue” Camaro. Sumbit€¥ was metallic purple. I laughed so hard I couldn’t breathe. Told him lotsa dudes were gonna be so disappointed when they pulled up next to him expecting some hot TCU sorority chick to find a red headed dude in there.
