I spoke to 2 buddies about the digital license. One said their game warden comes very quickly to see them each time after filling out the tag digitally. Certainly not for me.

We’re they wearing tin foil hats? Lol. That’s been brought up on TBH. More than one person that had never seen gw before on said place, tagged digitally and started getting checked, take it for what it’s worth I guess.

I'm old school on license and most everything in life. 1984 and Big Brother I don't want to be volunteering info. I fill out my log and tag and remain legal and most often DIY processing. I'm not against those doing digital, but it's not my choice but eventually I think will be mandated.

In okla they know on pronghorn tags when they are checked in but it’s 10 total tags.

I don’t think he was referring to anything in Oklahoma.

I know, Texas was modeled after Okla. They may know who filled a tag but doesn’t exactly give them location….

It won’t be mandatory in my lifetime. I think some folks on here just really want to be governed more.

Im good either way, it does not affect my hunts one way or the other. As far as being governed, it is still the same bag limits for either license, that is all I can see being controlled. If you are worried, turn off location services and/or put your phone in airplane mode. I was using OK E -Tags before TX had it, it was easy to just make the change and have both apps side by side for access when needed. I have not seen a GW since the E Tag was introduced.

I checked again online and looks like for Combos. I get the hunting, archery tag, upland bird, migratory birds...etc. No option for those just hard copy mailed to you for an additional $5. I'll just stop at Academy and get it right away

Simple just seems to work more often than not.

No issues with my Digital License, have had one the last three seasons. Very simple & convenient.

Just how much trouble is it to fill out a tag?

Not, but keeping up with 8 licenses and multiple stamps and endorsements are a in PIA. State apps are way easier all in all.

Even federal Duck stamp is now on the app
