His daughter has always been very liberal and married a soy boy more effeminate than her.

Not surprised she couldn't help herself.

It's beyond me that some members can't comment on a thread about one of our members passing away without disparaging the man or his daughter. I never met Mr. Oxner, but I always enjoyed his posts and he seemed like a wonderful, kind man. He will certainly be missed on this forum, and I'm sure he'll be missed by many others. Rest in peace, Bill.

College football starts tomorrow. Bill would always post the schedule.

I think Bill earned THF September cover photo.

RIP Bill. I dearly miss your daily post and your “Look that up” advise. Hope you are quail hunting on the other side.

Sad to hear of this. I never met nor talked to Bill on the phone, but I did regard him as my elder and statesman. Two things I'll always remember him for: One was his photos of the "old days" that reminded me of a time gone by. And two, every year I would PM him a Merry Christmas message, and he would send me back an electronic Christmas card. Everyone has their time and he is in a better place, but I still feel somewhat selfish that I wish he was still amongst us here on the forum.

God Speed Bill.

Unlike most threads on this forum, I recall disagreeing fairly hard with him once (I do not recall the subject). I thought he was cool in discussing it, and no one got belligerent. This forum needs more of that.

I was sad to hear of Mr. Bill passing. He is definitely missed and will be long remembered.

I've been a member for a very long time and a lot of interesting folks have come and gone. Very few are as memorable(at least to me) as Bill Oxner. The other one that comes to mind is the late Crazy Horse Consulting (CHC). They were both very unique individuals whether you always agreed with them or not.

RIP Mr. Bill.

I saved his steak pictures long ago and posted it a few times since he quit posting. I`m sure he enjoyed it at the time too. I wasn`t going to post it, but since you brought it up here it is once again.

If the THF had a Chapel, the pews would be full, and members would be standing. So long Bill.
