Been running dove hunts since 2000 here in Breckenridge. All that time it's rained opening weekend 4 times. We get ours late September and October.

I hope we get rain, we really need it.

Stonewall county is showing 75% chance of rain. Likely a rain out.

Don't mind hunting in the rain, just don't like all them Skitters flying around. Hard to be still swatting them blood suckers!

Yeah, but can it wait till Tuesday at least? Or rain today or tomorrow? I’m willing to negotiate, I’m a flexible Guy.

Sitting this opener out. Planned on an afternoon hunt, but it's been raing at home and where I planned to hunt. Showing decent chances of rain for next few days. Got nearly 3 months of season, so not too disappointed.

The weather has definitely been a wild card. Showers popping up all over the place.

Thats good. When you put a lot of effort into the setup it is nice to see it all come together.
