Scheel's has some Estate and Remington target loads (12 ga, 1 1/8 oz) for $8/box.

Cheapest I have seen is the Basspro deal. $7.98 if you use your Basspro /Cabelas card , if not $8.98.

Haven’t seen anything for Academy yet.

The days of $2.85 a box August special are over I guess.

Bought some federal top gun loads today for $10/box....that's about what I've been seeing.

I went to Field & Stream in Prosper in Fall 2022. They had Fiocchi dove loads on sale for $5/box plus a 20% off anything in the store coupon, bringing the price down to $4/box. I think I bought 60 boxes.

12 gauge reloads are running about $5.50
28 gauge about $5.25.

I've got some old boxes that my dad used to keep his reloads in. Some still have the price tags on them. I need to pull those out and look at the prices back in the 60s.

I still have ammo from two years ago. I try to buy every couple of years.

Do you ever get over this way? I have 8 boxes 25 shells each Fiocchi 8 shot 3/4 oz. $50. I make my own 28 ga.

Academy had some Aquila shells for $7.97 a box while ago. That was in Rockwall. May call and ask other places.

Bass Pro /Cabelas in Garland and Allen were out of the $7.98 shells in 12 gauge

The old Gibson's stores in north, central texas, had a great sporting goods dept! Remember dad and i used
to buy 12's 20ga for 1.79 box right before opening season. No discounts for case lots, those were the days,
used to register .22 ammo logged in, for .39cents a box, but had to be 21 or older to buy them because they
counld be fired in a hand gun!

Ammo prices have basically trippled in the last 12 years, freaking crazy. Haven't been a lot of birds where I hunt, still have 3 boxes from the case I bought 2 years ago.

Still a Gibson's in Weatherford. Pretty decent outdoor department considering size. Big on waterfowl stuff with lots of Sitka but some decoys and waders. I haven't priced shotgun shells but they had some steel a couple years ago when I couldn't find any.

If i remember my old mind, Seagoville TX was main head quarters for that store at the time, not sure if Gibsons
today is a spinoff of original or complete another retail venture. Was no waiting period then, filled out yellow sheet
form, paid for the item, check or cash and walked out the door!

The Gibson’s in Weatherford is great. Takes me back to my youth and they do have a really nice outdoor section and a ton of guns.

Btw, Academy has $10.00 off per flat for Remington Heavy Dove making it $109.00 per case. Monarch is $5.00-10.00 per flat. Making them 95.00-99.00
