Creek's lectures are entertaining. His whine about someone not saying "Thank You" and rant on not enough of us congratulating a hunter on a kill reminded me of all the talk I'd overhear from our female staff. He's been trolling me ever since I disagreed with his friend on HF hunting.

My place is arid enough that there isn't what you'd call a hog "problem," and I'm thankful for that. I've never complained about a "problem". Nobody pays to hunt anything on my place. But I decide who hunts. Letting any Joe Schmoe, that you don't know, on your place, is just plain stupid. Democrats want everything to be free. Burying them (the pigs) is stupid. And... not killing them is stupid. They cost me ZERO corn that's not meant for them and I really enjoy having ZERO pens around my deer feeders.

Sounds like a democrat, doesn't it? It definitely sounds like a guy who doesn't own property...I don't either but I'm with Creek, letting folks you don't know is a recipe for disaster. I'm also not a pen fan...but realize with some cows and populations of pigs they are a necessary evil.

I lost my hog hunting place last year and just now found another small place to hunt so for me, none in a while. I hope to break 100 total by early next year.

Goal on my property is 100 pigs killed this year. We are at 41 currently. As hunting season winds up, we will be here more often and will kill them more often. Even so, we are behind the 8 ball if we want to hit the elusive 100.
