The boxer controversy is odd…

The boxer in question was assigned female at birth, she has lived her entire life as a female with female anatomy..

However, she has XY chromosomes and higher than normal testosterone but not at the levels of a male.

In my opinion anyone with XY chromosomes and high testosterone should be DQed, but this is not a transgender situation

From what I understand. Both boxers cannot fight in IBF or IBA.
Apparently women have had to prove sex since the 40s. It’s not done for men due to no competitive advantage.

I agree she shouldn’t be allowed to compete, it’s just that this situation isn’t as cut and dry as it sounds with regard to her gender…

On a side note to Simone Biles, who is a fantastic athlete. I just watched women’s swimming and they won gold in medley.

A girl named Tori Huske, who I never heard of until 10 minutes ago, has 6 medals in 2 Olympics. Simone has 10 in 3 Olympics. Some of these other women need some better coverage.

That is funny because China is the world’s leading supplier of illegal performance enhancing drugs, is run by a dictator, almost certainly runs a state-sponsored doping program and probably raises athletes from pre-adolescent stages of life in greenhouse conditions. And still isn’t #1.
