Here are few plains game specials from Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia for THF this year. As of right now, these specials are available in Namibia and South Africa. The price covers airport pickup, meals and lodging, and the trophies listed (with trophy prep). Let me know if you have any questions. These are family friendly hunts, and the prices are excellent. If you’ve ever pondered Africa as a destination, now’s your chance!

I have hunted Africa 6 times. A couple of the offerings in this post are worth looking at, especially for the first time safari.

However additional information is required:

Which country, RSA or Namibia?
How large is the hunting ground?
Do you own the land, or, are you a freelance PH?
Is the land high fenced?

Greetings, sir. I’m posting on behalf of PH Brian Roodt. Brian is the owner of Quality Hunting Safaris and he will be conducting the hunts himself. These hunts will be conducted on a 70k acre property in Namibia that is adjacent to Etosha National Park. Brian is managing this property, but is not the owner. Because of the proximity to Etosha, the property is game fenced to limit the entry of elephants, lions, and poachers. All 3 still get through, but the fence helps. There will be no internal fences on the property. As of right now, these price/packages are also available for some properties in South Africa from partnering areas. They will be high fenced with no internal fences and will be from 37k acres to 98k acres. Hunts in SA will be about an out from Kruger National Park.

I’m happy to answer any additional questions.

These are incredible values for the money, and there’s still room to send some of our THF members to Africa. The lodge is absolutely beautiful and you will eat chef cooked meals while seeing a lifetime’s amount of game in a single week. Day trips to Etosha National Park will be included, and extra nights in the park can be arranged. Wing shooting for Guinea fowl can be added for just the price of shells. Be brave, book a flight! I’m happy to provide videos of the lodge and Etosha. I’m also happy to assist with flight recommendations, weapons permits, and customs brokers for bringing back your trophies.

Looks like some great deals! Wing shooting is 1 thing I wish I’d done when I went last year. I told everyone that on a teacher’s salary Africa wasn’t something I would be able to do over and over. But every time I see specials or auctions for safaris, I find my hunting addiction trying to make a liar out of me.

I'm interested in knowing more. Please PM me a trophy fee list of all game available on the property in Namibia.
What is the spouse rate for accompanying?
Thanks

Windhoek would be your end route. I fly DFW to Frankfurt, then Frankfurt to Windhoek. Flights are about 10 hours each. The PH will pick you up from the Windhoek airport and drive you to the hunting property.

It’s not difficult but you’ll have to take your firearm to a CBP office and fill out a 4457, which is basically a form declaring that you own the item you are traveling with. CBP will verify the serial number and stamp your form. If you fly through Frankfurt you will have to submit a copy of the 4457 before travel, and pay a small admin fee. If you travel through South Africa you will want to pay a service to help you clear your firearm through customs when you arrive. I would not fly through London with a firearm. The CBP office in DFW is off 114 in Irving and is very quick. I’d be happy to share some other tips and tricks for dealing with TSA and specific airlines. Feel free to contact me for any further questions.

Some groups have booked, but I’d love to see some more THF members make it to Namibia. This is a premium hunting area and not in any way a “budget hunt” as far as quality and experience are concerned. These package prices are part of a management strategy for the next two years and you can capitalize off of it. Go visit the world famous Etosha National Park. Have the hunt of a lifetime. Take your wife and family too! We will be advertising these hunts soon on some different platforms and they will go very fast once that happens. I can also help you customize a group trip.

Some clients made the trip to Victoria Falls this week. This can easily be added on to a hunt if anyone is interested. [Linked Image]

Okay you’ve peaked my interest. I have a 10 year obsessed with hunting and fishing. What’s the fish in the last picture and is it possible to do a day or half day fishing?

PM me a good phone number. I’d like some more details on bringing the family and everything involved.

The fish is a Nembwe, or Yellow-Belly Bream. They are good incidental fish when targeting the famous Tigerfish found in the Zambezi river. Fishing would be best paired with a trip to Victoria falls, but there are many options that we can customize. PM incoming
