The reported number of people that say they are part of the LBGTQ group is 7% of the population. I find that number inflated. But, let's say it is accurate. What makes any organization think it is a good idea to promote something to 7% of the population, instead of the other 93%.

Swimming and women's volleyball are all I've watched so far. No opening or closing ceremonies, and the # of commercials are just a beating.

Channel 5 news tonight said this year we have a diverse group of girls. Then her next sentence was that all the girls are off color. That doesn't sound very diverse to me.

In today’s world you are apt to see that garbage anywhere in public. Do you turtle up and not do the things you enjoy because of it? For me that is a hard no. For those of you who do not understand the concept of hard work and earnest head to head competition while you run down bunny trails in search of butterflies, I understand your not watching the Olympics.

Ain't in the pride movement, don't support it and have no idea (zero) who you chose to capitalize it. Watching athletes compete is pretty special. I still go to HS events to see it. My apologies the event is handled by some organization for which makes others butt hurt. Cut off your nose to spite your face comes to mind.
