An emergency eTrace identified his dad as buying the AR. The eTrace takes about a minute to complete. His dad led to him being identified. I'm not familiar with the e trace. how can I find out that fast what gun you own if they don't collect that data when they do a background check? When a FFL licensee no longer has their license, the 4473's are sent in and scanned into the eTrace database. The NTC receives an average of 1.2 million out-of-business records per month.

And now Biden has tested positive for Covid 19...headed back to his basement. Yeah, how convenient. Doubt he has Covid, they just need to hide him for awhile. The Dems are eating their own now. Schiff said he needs to remove his candicy and an hour ago Schummer did as well. They're trying to run Dementia Joe off. The question is, who will be the Dems nomination after that? Our best bet to win is if they leave him on the ticket. If they run someone who isn't a vegetable, we will be in trouble. I agree. And that's why they are trying to get Joe off the ticket. The debate showed Dems he really is a walking vegetable.

That means they have a record of every single transfer for “up to 20 years.” I am willing to bet no one is clearing out the old records. It’s literally like doing a google search on the digital records, if google could narrow it down to the exact one thing you are looking for. It’s too much if you ask me.

I heard if he leaves the race, that Kamala would have to walk away too for their campaign money to be used by another candidate, but I could be wrong. No. Only Kamala would have access to the campaign funds (as designated). IF she walked away a new candidate would have to try to raise their own funds. Now....that money could be transferred to a Political Action Committee, but only several thousand dollars would be able to be donated to the new candidate.

I want Joe to stay in and be humiliated by Trump with a landslide victory. X2 big time! Don’t think they aren’t planning on stealing it again, they got away with it once, and lots of republicans went right on along with it. Mike pence, mitt Romney, John Cornyn ect. Unless some of these useless republicans stand up and against them they will do it again. Just look our own state, so-called republicans tried to take out the man fighting against the Biden disaster more than anyone. Ken Paxton.

The 4473 stays with the licensee. Currently, the ATF now requires that FFLs keep the 4473 for as long as the FFL is in business and licensed. FFLs that are in business longer than 20 years, allows for records that are 20 years old to be stored off-site in a warehouse. If they lose their FFL, see my previous post.

This is correct. You guys really think they don’t keep a record? You really think the FBI does not have records of every background check submitted for 20 years? They literally visit FFL holders to update the FBI database with the forms. They keep track of all the transfers. How else do they track a transfer down in 1 minute?

its amazing that people can believe every conspiracy TikTok they see as the gospel but think that the government doesn’t trace an FFL transaction when they want to.

I know how it works. The serial number isn’t provided on a NIC with the FBI. IOI conducts compliance inspections at the premises of licensees. They don’t bring a scanner and electronically load 4473’s. I have been present for plenty of inspections. In this case the dealer that sold dad the AR went out of business so the forms were sent to the NTC so it was immediately available on eTrace. If the dealer had still been in business, it would have been a long involved process starting with the wholesaler who purchased it from the manufacturer. I don’t know where you are getting your information from but it’s not correct.

WOW! Balls of steel on the Republican Senators that confronted the head of SS at the convention. I just saw the video with full audio on FOX News. This will hit the fan today. They hit her with hard questions and she did what this administration always does, stonewalls and hope they can ride it out and people forget. There are so many similar incidents over the last 3.5 years that we just quit asking about.

She didn't even have the self awareness to realize what an awful position she is in and how it was (IMO) disrespectful for her to be there. I was a guest at a dinner for about 100 people at my sisters' house. The Speaker of the House was guest of honor and Senate Minority Leader was in attendance as well. The SS and Capitol Police advance planning was serious. I had a casual conversation with the minority leaders detail. My opinion, for what it's worth: Agents on the ground would die for whoever they are assigned to. The advanced planning, # of layers, and overall attention and priority given to the principal isn't on them. That's on the way up's that are in charge at high levels. Dem's are guilty of intentional neglect that lead to this.

I think I saw it reported that the weapon was purchased more like 10-11 years ago.

It’s not a conspiracy.
ntxtrapper it's the ATF that usually visits FFLs right? Just for inspection etc? I personally know they don't scan and keep records as stated above. There's FFLs on here who would know this as well. I believe 10 Gauge gets a little carried away sometimes, bless his heart.
