I didn’t see the teleprompters hit. Video showed both and both were intact with no cracks or shattered glass
The path of the bullet was not in the path of the teleprompters anyway. In order to hit the ear the way it did with his head turned as it was, the bullet came from straight left or right. Teleprompters are in front of the podium
To the left and right, so there is no path that would take those out that would coincide with the a of that shot.

These people are nuts. Even if it hit teleprompter, it would continue and could easily hit him.

Agree. Would not be shocked if that initial ID is incorrect. From all the reports being made, it sure sounds like the shooter was on the roof of a building outside the venue and got three shots off. Within seconds counter sniper(s), it only sounded like one semi auto rifle firing very quickly, had the threat neutralized (4-5 shots in rapid fire) and a final shot to ensure the threat was dead. Total of 8-9 shots total, two different tempos of shot, and within 30 seconds SS says shooter is down and they move trump.
