Nothing like that, but we got strong straight-line winds around 6am that blew over some pretty heavy stuff in the yard and on the patio. Power out in some nearby areas.

Slightly LATER as the hook formed... YEP - that's EXACTLY the time - 10:38pm - my kids woke me up saying it's coming! We got into the backyard-underground shelter within about 2 minutes - pajamas and all- grabbed nothing but shoes on my feet and a flashlight!

YEP - that's EXACTLY the time - 10:38pm - my kids woke me up saying it's coming! We got into the backyard-underground shelter within about 2 minutes - pajamas and all- grabbed nothing but shoes on my feet and a flashlight! I have two friends that both live approximately between the blue dot on the map (showing where I was) and the hook echo, right in the middle of the purple. One reported a huge hail storm that lasted at least 15 minutes. The other, farther south, was the last friend to contact me with a report. His family is fine but the debris will take all day to clean up. And they're still north and west of where the biggest one sat down.
Pass the gravy.
