Even though there's plenty of forbs, and the other protein feeders have a ton left in them, they love this old feeder by my little tank. Maybe there is something to putting them close by water? (Most of the others have water within 500 yards.)

Im not your go to guy on protein but others say close water is very important.

reliable water needs to be close to protein feeder---within 100-200 yards (the closer the better) 500 yards is a par 5 away!

Those does look like they will all domino at the same time and those Axis bucks are not hurting in the weight department by any means.

Creek, looks like they should be dropping them in the next couple weeks in our neck of the woods. I hope my fawn and twin survival rates are as good this year as they were last.
