Our landowner just gave out his one way ticket off his lease in Mill County; he is raising goats now and needs for us to be gone. I had been on the lease for 7 years, previously in Comanche for 12 years, before that lease sold.

I am an old fart that still gets around pretty good, but would like to stay within three hours of Waco; am paying only $1200 per gun now for year round but willing to go up some. Have a 20ft camper to stay in but would like electricity, also. Experienced gun/bow hunter have my own blind and feeders. Can call me at 254-715-8035, or email - johndcky@aim.com.

Thanks! confused2 up flag

Have a chance and will be able to afford up to $2000, but prefer annual lease if possible!

No affiliation, just sharing.

400 acres lease just north of Crowell TX. Lots of deer and hogs. Decent quail numbers and turkeys in the spring. Shared camp with electricity across the county road from the lease. Place has a large pond in the middle of it that I have not seen dry in the last 7 years. Raggedy Creek runs through this property. Some years we have javelina and some years we don’t. I hunt a 1,000 acres place across the road from it. Looking for a group of 3 guys to take this place. Price is $2,025 per gun. It is a year around lease. Text me for more details and pictures of game taken from the place. 940-218-8331

I'd be interested but would have to find two more hunters. Good looking deer and turkeys!

Well, I have made the difficult decision to not sign up for a hunting lease any longer. Instead, I will just contract with an outfitter and select a hunt of my choice. With the prices of a lease these days, to me it will be a lot more economical and more productive for me to go that route. With prices around $2000 and up, plus the feed costs, upkeep, equipment, and travel, I would rather book with a knowledgeable hunting professional outfitter and be reasonably assured that I will take an animal that will meet my standards or at least have the opportunity to do so.

Thanks THF, and to all of you that responded, I thank you for your efforts.

First on my list will be a Gulf coast fishing trip, and then this fall, a New Mexico mule deer hunt.
