For the price it’s hard to beat the Sightmark Wraith 4K mini, especially if you get it from Palmetto for $450. The weight is much better than their original full size models. The included illuminator is good to 100 yards but there are aftermarket versions that allow you to shoot out to 300 pretty reasonably. Daylight clarity is great especially on the lower zoom range. It’s also nice to have sound capture that some of the cheaper models don’t record. If you aren’t ready to jump into thermal it’s hard to beat. Also regardless of brand, if you are hunting thick brush, the washout from the illuminator hitting brush close to where you are positioned can be challenging. But if you have more open lanes, or are hunting pastures it will be no big deal. Night time Factory illuminator at 100 yards. https://youtu.be/Gro7JPyyvC8?feature=sharedDay time 75 yards. Ignore the miss, I didn’t understand subsonic trajectory at the time of purchase. https://youtu.be/LF61iADuP50?si=BtMgKrnHb5M1akT8Here is an aftermarket illuminator at 400yards https://youtu.be/XYqkOVM8atc?feature=shared

Friends don't let friends buy ATN....not even a question between ATN and (insert any other maker).

I’m running the 2x. Occationallly when sighting in or shooting paper it seems like the 4x would be nice, however for every hunting situation the 2x is just fine. But I rarely take shots on 2x I typically bump to 6x or 8x.

I've had both the Wraith 4-32x50 HD and the Wraith 2-16X32 Mini 4K. I much prefer the Mini, its much smaller and lighter than the heavy bulky 4-32x50 HD, its larger field of view is better suited to hunting, definition is better at higher power but it does cost almost twice as much. If budget is a major concern, the 4-32x50 HD will get the job done nicely.
