I think Trump’s ego is too big for him to select Noem as his VP regardless of whether she has the moxie to put down a bad dog or pay someone else to do it. When Trump recommended shutting down the country, Republican Governors across the country blindly followed his recommendations. Noem is one of the few that defied Trump when all that mess happened. Noem is one of the very few Governors who stood up against the president, and she got it right. I like Noem’s moxie. I don’t believe Trump’s ego would let him select a VP that bested him though. I think a more likely scenario would be an appointment in his cabinet if he gets a second term in the White House.

Some of youins, don't know sic 'em from come here about being a leader. Leaders are self-disciplined. Leaders have a rational mindset and weigh pros vs cons when making decisions. Not all winners are leaders but all leaders are winners. If she was a leader, she wouldn't currently be on her damage control tour.
