I've got hogs consistently every night that I need to get but I don't have a night vision set up. What green light setups can y'all recommend so I can shoot some pigs under my feeder at night?

Thanks in advanced for any help.

Ive got several cheap ($29 or less) high output green lights that I got off of Amazon that I used to use, that I now loan out to buddies that dont have NV/Thermal capability when we hog hunt...

Theyve stood up to recoil of everything from 556 to 308 to 458 SOCOM.. no problem.. and easily illuminate feeders out to at least 150 yards..

Ive got a really nice Sniper Hog green light as well.. they are top quality.. and I really like that they are a TX based company with outstanding customer service... but, if Im truthful, other than having even higher illumination output (which Ive found really isnt necessary at the 2 places I primarily hunt in East TX... my longest shots are 150...)... I dont see much of an advantage when comparing cost vs performance..

these fit in a 1" scope ring and attach to pic rails easily...

Interesting, so not one that you mount to a feeder to light up an area but one to use on your scope. Thanks for the reply.

You could look at solar powered landscape lights in green. I've got a spotlight mounted above my smoker with a motion sensor on it like the one in the link. It will stay on very dim all night, but then goes bright when motion is detected. I've not seen the motion lights in green though.

I prefer a rifle mounted light.. because it allows me to scan the area and/or follow the pig once it is hit to the wood line in the event it is able to move after taking the bullet..

Ive hunted a couple of places that have motion detecting lights located around the feeders.. they certainly work... i just prefer a weapon mounted light..

I shine white lights on them every night and they don't care. Not sure why you want green.

I had some landscaping lights that I cut clear green plastic lenses for. I hung them from the feeder, they worked great. After a few months the green pieces fell out, the pigs didn’t care.

I use these, no batteries and cheap. I had them out December through March and every one of them worked perfectly.
$42 for 8 of them.

I bought this one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXX5GVZG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Lights up great and only shines at about 30% until it detects motion then goes full beam. My buddy has this same one and has been running it for about a year with no issues.

Thanks for all the input

The brighter the better. They don’t care.

Great to know, we've always used red and green lights. The white light myth is debunked! Thanks for sharing!

Curious, how many do you have out at each feeder? What's the range and brightness?

I have seen hogs shy away from white light shining from the blind. A friend of mine did the same test and the hogs ignored it. However red and/or green have a hard to beat reputation. A few years ago some hogs came to the feeder while a green light shined from the blinds (about 50 yards away). It was bright enough to tell hogs were there but not enough to pick the best hog and give it a quality shot. I turned on the green flashlight on my rifle and all three hogs ran away. 30 seconds later all 3 came back. So the one absolute incontrovertible truth is, Ya never know".

However, I am a fan of red or green lights to see the hogs arrive and then light them up with the rifle light when ready to pick and fire. It is crazy enough that good practices and what you can get away with tend to merge and switch places without warning. Love hog hunting.

One or two, depends on the area. Probably around 17-20'. They get use to these white lights pretty fast, we didn't have any issue with white light.

Elusive Wildlife started the industry and they have made the best lights for hunters. Excellent customer service as well and a strong warranty. Fair prices too compared to competitors

Off Amazon. Claoner lights, I just screwed them to the side of my stand and fill feeders.

I hand feed inside so the deer can eat without the pigs messing with them or eating all the feed. 25 foot steel light pole with a metal halide light.
