Spouse went antler hunting on the West pasture this morning.
Most elk sheds he has ever found and he saw numerous groups of elk, bulls and cows.

That set on the right sure would have looked good still on that bulls head.

Went pulled me trail cams (replace batteries).
Looked around for sheds.
only thing i found twas ticks

Spouse puts that set at about 260" and he thinks 2 years from now is when he will really jump up in antler size and be a "dandy bull " as he calls them.
Those short thirds will always hurt his score though. I don't think they will get tons longer from what we've seen over the years. Some just have those short, thick 3rds up in that country.

He found 2 or 3 deadheads too but we'll have to notify the GW before we get them tagged, they are hanging in trees right now in the pasture- raghorn and a 5 pt I think he said.
