Nice with that pitch, be sure to get 6”. I just had my whole house redone the 4” we’re not working, mainly due to the pitch of my back patio roof we put on 3 years ago. Man, that looks great, we went with wood for the supports on ours, wish now I would gone with metal, the exposed wood cracks open even if you seal the crap out of it.

I build as much as possible out of steel. And I build it one time. Wood, outdoors, requires so much more maintenance.
My perimeter is 1.63 miles long. I've replaced one mile of fence. I pulled out rotten wood posts, and rebuilt the entire fence with nothing but steel. There won't be the need to tear it out in another hundred years.
