I don't recall seeing ground blinds blown around like that. Well, you have a project now. You can change everything you didn't like about the old one.

Looks like straight line wind did this. No trees around it are twisted.

Looks like straight line wind did this. No trees around it are twisted. Yes, straight line winds (which can be considerable) and minimal construction on the one stand.

Had the same result with about the same size blind a couple years ago around wilbarger county line on red river.had to use 4 foot screw in anchors and ratchet straps, so far they have held up well.

There was a tornado fairly close to that same area just a few years ago during the spring while we were out there turkey hunting. Managed to get it on video. Had a couple of buddies out there turkey and pig hunting right there off of 410 and 408 when the storms went through just recently, they said it got pretty scary.

Watched two of them spin up last weekend at my lease just north of O H Ivie. I was turkey hunting when this tornado spun up. I think the damage wasn’t too wide spread.
