Feet are starting to hurt from wearing cowboy boots day, so I started looking for something suitable daily wear that would give me good traction off-road. Had a pair of Keens that were comfortable but to be honest were an ugly shoe.

Landed on the Corrie hikers from Kennetrek, I love my mountain extremes but those are a serious hunting boot vs. a more “ all terrain” boot I can wear year round save for the worst weather.

Boots run a 1/2 size smaller than the ME’s, and are a bit stiffer in the ankle. Still in my break in process, but I’m liking these boots a lot. Uninsulated & Waterproof, these will probably be my go-to for 7/10ths of my hunting trips.

Anyone looking for a top quality hunting/hiking boot should give these guys a look. Ordered on Amazon and saved about $40

Did you try these on before you bought? Would you say you have wide foot or narrow?

There are some good markdowns on some Crispi boots that Mr. Potterfield is offering i was about to pull the trigger on for a western hunt in early Oct.

go to scheels, they carry them, zamberlan and crispi, and then order from midway

Normal width foot here. Boot size is a 9D, everything else I usually wear a 9 1/2 but these were a 9.

No, did not try them on before I bought. Still stiff in the ankle, right foot is fine but left foot hurts after extended wear around the big bone on the ankle. Hope it gets better with wear.
