Thats insanity. I love bourbon and have a fantastic collection but I have paid MSRP or just above it on all my bottles...including my Lot B. I have some really good bottles and WL Weller and George T Stagg are the two I would love to own, and might overpay for...but not that much.

From a commonsense perspective, I completely agree with you. Would I pay that,,,, hell no. There are knuckle heads out there that will light money on fire for certain bottles. One could make the same argument when it comes to high end mechanical watches. I'm not talking about a stainless sport model that has 28,800 beats per hour like what's on your wrist. There are countless people that have a high tolerance to torching money for a Richard Mille. The price for one of them is laughable. At the end of the day, what something is worth, is what someone else is willing to pay for it.... You are right.... secondary on that bottle is only $1400-1650. So anyone that is thinking about paying $7500 is crazy.

MSRP is around $125. I'd probably pay $300 to $350

I just picked up the red label Weller yesterday. I have been trying to complete the Weller collection. Im too cheap to drink drink it but i do enjoy collecting. Pappy Van Winkle was on their shelf for a grand but i haven't started that series yet.

S. Padre has a chain owned by Specs. Was able to score a couple bottles this week at a good price.

This has been a good read. Larceny is pretty kick azz, especially for the price and availability. I would never let my WL Weller or Pappy’s anywhere near the edge of a table top. just saying…

Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.
