While most folks are trying to shoot at 1,000 yards, I am going back to the way I was raised...calling game up close and taking it with a rifle with iron sights. This coyote would not leave the FREQ alone and gave me more chances to kill her than any coyote that I have ever seen. She came back to the FREQ after being shot at on numerous occasions.
There's something to replicating the true animal sounds.
Adios,
Gary

People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf

Lots of people are saying great things about the FREQ!

What we are finding, which should be no surprise is that the good predator callers love it and the guy who thinks if he or she has one that they are suddenly going to be good at this game are disappointed. There's no doubt that the FREQ produces a more realistic sound than any e-caller ever produced.
Those of you that have read my articles or listened to my seminars, know that I preach that 80% of calling success is dictated by how and where you sit your butt down to make a call. The FREQ can improve that 20% of success that is the sound produced.
Good luck and Adios,
Gary

Never thought of a .30-30 for that application. Good job.

This Model 94 is in .357 caliber which has plenty of "thump" for coyotes. I do have a Ruger made Marlin in 30-30 caliber but it is the Model 336.
Thanks and Adios,
Gary

Thanks for the clarification. .357 for close in coyote shot does make more sense.

Checked out the FREQ on Amazon. The two Shepherds and the Great Pyranees responded by trying to find it. Proud of them. Too bad that because of all the sheep ranchers in Western Val Verde County there aren't any coyotes. If a coyote is spotted and the state/fed trappers don't get it, they will actually put up an aircraft to find it/them.

Used to love calling them with a mouth call, back in the day, in Starr County.
