We had one heck of a window slapper last night, but got over 2", woke me up at 3 am and haven't been back to sleep since. But I will take the rain over sleep.

Road closures all over SE Tx here halfway between Beaumont and Lufkin. Weather dude is saying 12"-14" last 24 hours here. I emptied the rain gauge yesterday evening and again at daylight this AM. It was overflowed this AM.

By local reports we got between 8”-10”…our gauge topped out at 6” and was full for a while….

No real damage, just a lot of water. Raining on and off again today
