My son took his wife out to the ranch for the first time last week where they saw a number of rattle bugs and she wasn’t impressed. Seeing this one on the front porch next to the snake boots really startled her… she was reaching for them when it rattled. Fortunately it didn’t put her off going out there. My son says she is now in the market for a pair of snake boots for herself and thinks she found a pair. 😂 ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/04/full-9493-417739-img_1566.jpeg)

That's a little too close. We once had a baby get inside the closet at the lease house. Actually discovered it by hearing it rattle while trying to fall asleep.

I do agree with keeping those snake boots in the house. She does have a good idea for those high lift boots, though! LOL
i learned my lesson years ago when I left my shoes outside, put one on and felt a red hot needle go through my toe. Shook the shoe and a HUGE spider fell out!

My wife was not happy when this one decided to take shelter under the door going into the laundry room at our ranch house... ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/04/full-68908-417831-img_1911.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/04/full-68908-417832-img_1910.jpg)

Dang. Going to my lease in Stonewall next weekend. BTW, it sucks that his boots are on the porch, next to the snake.
