No safe shot. Put the long range rifle up. Get the combo gun and deploy the cow Walk through the herd, but of course they followed behind as my audience I can get much closer than this Got close enough that one got aggressive so took a load of buckshot and double tap with 6.5 swede barrel. Two coyotes had been in treeline hunting piglets, but they know cows don't have blue Jean legs and left early on. A really fun way to hunt hogs.

Haha.....love it. Much better than a Ghillie Suit and having to crawl through the grass, chiggers and ticks.

Nice! I'd need one in "Hereford" red and white. What is the material, how much does it weigh, did you cut it yourself,?????
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

That's great. I have thought about using a cowhide and crawling but that is certainly a better plan!

I bought it on clearance several years ago and keep it at my hunting lease. It comes in handy sometimes. I think the ones Montana Decoys makes now are red.

Great, something else for me to spend money on and throw in the truck for my next hog hunt.

I seem to recall that many years ago, somebody posted in the migratory bird section about using a cow silhouette to sneak up on snow geese in a pond. Some members were weirdly upset by it. I guess they thought it was not pure to hunt geese without decoys. I thought it was pretty innovative. This is too. Good job.

Stalking At night through a herd of cattle looks like a good way to get killed.

You must have some spooky pigs. The ones here don’t require any trickery to get within 20 yards of.

During the day they run at sight of a human. All the time. Their vision isn’t the best as far as animals go.
