Changing to a new lease every year would be WAY too much work given the amount of time and investment all of our hunters have into their respective spots and blinds. We dropped one pasture and added another this year, that was a ton of work and we didnt even move our camp or primary hunting property.

I've been on one lease 6 years now and another one for three. I've also had a couple other here and there for one year til I found what I wanted.

3rd year on my small 250 acre bow only lease and 9th year on my 7000 acre year round lease.
Yeah, I like the long term setup. Gives me a chance to learn the land and the animals on it.
Good price on the 7000 - less than $4 per acre split between 10 hunters. Actually there's 5 of us that hunt and the other 5 drink whiskey (but they don't both anything).
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.
