I own Seco Creek Dove Hunts in Devine, which is 45 minutes south of San Antonio. I’ve been running dove hunting lodge packages for almost 15 years and have two locations that can lodge a total of 88 hunters. I’ve recently personally just got into duck hunting this winter and noticed that we have a nice amount of birds between our 15+ personal tanks. Widgon, teal, gadwall, pintail, ringneck. Was wondering if y’all think there’d be an interest if I ran dove/duck combo hunts next season. 2 evening dove hunts, 2 morning duck hunts, lodging for 2 nights and all meals for $1250. Seco Creek Dove Hunts aims to be South Texas’ newest dove hunting paradise, 8 irrigation pivots of Black Oil sunflowers, sesame and wheat, all on-site or within minutes from our two lodge locations in Devine and Pearsall. Including dry land, we will have over 800 acres planted with fields in Lytle, Devine, Moore and Pearsall. All locations have tanks as well, ensuring plenty of water and food for doves to stick around. With hundreds of acres of new land and pivots compared to last year, the 2024-2025 season at Seco Creek Dove Hunts is looking to be the best one yet.

would you ever do a season type lease?

Regular duck season starts after regular dove season. Maybe you are talking about early teal season or the short winter dove season.

BF, I'd be interested in doing straight up duck hunts.

Lots of SA area /south Texas hunters that would rather not run to Choke Canyon or the coast & all the public land/water for duck hunting.

LMK if you do decide to offer straight waterfowl hunting.
